Now a "Pansexual" Spiderman

Do we really need to go there?
  • I know all humans are fucked up, but do we really need to start injecting Gay sex into comic book characters?
  • We don't even get see Captain America and the Black Widow go at it, so why should Gay characters be shoved at us?

(CNS News)  -  Andrew Garfield, the actor who portrayed Spider-Man and his alter ego Peter Parker in two films, says he is ready for the superhero to be portrayed as “pansexual.”
“I’m excited to get to the point where we don’t have to have this conversation, where we can have a pansexual Spider-Man,” Garfield, 32, told the website Mic.com. “What are we so scared of? Why are we so, ‘No, it has to be this way, a man and a woman.’ Why is that even a conversation?”
“We’re scared of things that aren’t us,” Garfield continued. “Love is love. Skin is skin. Flesh is flesh. We’re all wrapped in the same thing. I have no preference.”
Pansexual is defined as having sexual attraction towards people of any sex or gender identity.
Garfield played Spider-Man in "The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012) and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"(2014). Early in 2015 it was announced that Garfield would no longer be playing the character, who will be portrayed in upcoming films by actor Tom Holland.
In 2013 Garfield told Entertainment Weekly that he had brought up the idea of a homosexual Spider-Man to Matt Tolmach, the producer of "The Amazing Spider-Man." Garfield suggested that M.J., or Mary Jane, traditionally Spider-Man's female love interest, could be male.
“I was kind of joking, but kind of not joking about M.J.,” Garfield said. “And I was like, ‘What if M.J. is a dude?’ Why can’t we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It’s hardly even groundbreaking! … So why can’t he be gay? Why can’t he be into boys?”
