Islamists say Obama gave them weapons

Obama has been arming Terrorists

The Telegraph reports about Ahmed Issa al-Sheikh and Zahran Alloush, are leaders of the Islamic Front, a group representing non-al-Qaeda Islamist factions including hardliners who want a strict Sharia state.

They published a document saying they were no longer part of the Free Syrian Army's Supreme Military Council, the military wing of the western-backed Syrian National Coalition.

The third was the north-eastern commander of the SMC, Saddam al-Jamal.

The most extreme al-Qaeda faction, Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), published an interview with him in which he said he was defecting out of disgust with the SMC's dealings with Saudi, Qatari and western intelligence agencies.

He gave details of his colleagues' meetings with foreign "agents", including from Britain, saying he realised only too late he was part of a "project" that would eventually be used against fellow Muslims.

"We were ignorant as we didn't know that we were infidels and apostates, after we used to meet with the apostates of Qatar and Saudi Arabia and with the infidels of Western nations such as America and France in order to receive arms and ammo or cash," he says.

Analysts and diplomats say the new Islamist alliance can muster around 50,000 men, more than the total rebel force. Estimates of the relative strengths of the two main al-Qaeda groups, ISIS and Jabhat Al-Nusra, vary widely, but are almost certainly at 15,000 or more.

An assessment prepared by Gen Salim Idriss, head of the Supreme Military Council, said that ISIS could additionally call upon support from up to 20,000 allied tribesmen in the north-east, near the Iraq border.

"Praise be to Allah, thank you Brother Obama
for these cool new weapons."

"Captain, the Iranians and Russians are funding and arming the Syrian and Iraqi governments.  Wars require very, very expensive weapons.  It is illogical that the Islamist terrorists are operating alone.  Logic dictates that the U.S., the CIA and their European and Arab allies are backing the terrorists."
