John McCain says: 'Abolish the Constitution'

Abolish the Constitution
Senators Lieberman, McCain and Graham demand that Comrade Obama overthrow
the government of Syria without a Constitutional Declaration of War.

Congress could care less about the oath they took to protect the Constitution

By Gary;

Without a legal Constitutional Declaration of War three Senators want the US to overthrow the government of Syria by force.  The very same unconstitutional policy they advocated for Libya and that was carried out by Comrade Obama.

The unconstitutional war against Libya by Obama was totally ignored by both political parties when it was grounds for impeachment.

Now John McCain, Joe Lieberman and Lindsay Graham urged Obama to help arm Syria's rebels with weapons and create a safe zone inside the country for a transition government.

McCain blasted President Barack Obama, who defeated him in the 2008 presidential election, for recently setting the "red line" for Syria at use of chemical weapons.

"If you're (Syrian President) Bashar Assad ... maybe you interpret that to mean that you can do anything short of chemical weapons before the United States will intervene," the Republican from Arizona told the Ambrosetti Forum, a gathering of political and business leaders on the shores of Lake Como in Italy reports The Huffington Post.

"We should be supplying weapons to the opposition to Assad (and) I strongly support the creation of a safe zone," said Lieberman, the 2000 Democratic vice presidential nominee.

Graham said, "It is better to shape history than to see it pass by."
.
What Constitution????  -  These three jerks never met a war they did not want to fight.  Following the will of the Founding Fathers and the Constitution has no meaning at all to them or to most members of Congress.

Section after section of the Constitution is being abolished before our eyes and there is next to zero reaction from an apathetic, mouth-breathing American people and the leadership class.

McCain, Graham & Lieberman - War, War and more War
Constitution?  What Constitution?

George Washington:   "The constitution vests the power of declaring war in Congress; therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject and authorized such a measure."   (1793.)

James Madison:    "The power to declare war, including the power of judging the causes of war, is fully and exclusively vested in the legislature . . . the executive has no right, in any case, to decide the question, whether there is or is not cause for declaring war."   (1793.)
.
Alexander Hamilton:   "The President is to be commander-in-chief of the army and navy of the United States. . . . It would amount to nothing more than the supreme command and direction of the military and naval forces, as first General and Admiral of the Confederacy; while that of the British king extends to the declaring of war and the raising and regulating of fleets and armies, -- all of which by the Constitution under consideration, would appertain to the legislature."   (The Federalist, 69, 1788.)
